About our Grenadier tours
Tours are operated by 4×4 Wales and Off Road Adventure Travel, run by Adam Hearne. With 35 years of professional driving experience and specialist 4×4 training qualifications, I plan routes that suit the Grenadier’s capabilities while keeping things safe and enjoyable. Whether you already own a Grenadier or are considering one and want to experience it properly off road, these days are set up to give you time behind the wheel, not just on the tarmac.
What to expect
INEOS Grenadier tours are small group or private, so there is time to talk through techniques, ask questions and build confidence. We use legal lanes and tracks, with a mix of terrain to suit conditions on the day. You can expect regular stops, clear briefings and support throughout, along with local knowledge on places to stop for food, fuel and overnight stays if you are making a trip of it.
Where we run our INEOS tours
Most tours start in Carmarthenshire, Powys and Ceredigion and run on 4×4 routes across Wales. I also operate overland trips in other parts of the UK and Europe, including Wiltshire, the Pyrenees, Galicia, Portugal and Albania through Off Road Adventure Travel. Who our tours suit
These tours are suitable for new and experienced Grenadier drivers. You do not need previous off road experience, just a full driving licence and a willingness to learn. If you have more experience, routes can be adjusted to give you a bit more challenge while still keeping within legal and safe limits.

As I was so impressed by the vehicle’s capability and performance, in November 2024 I took delivery of a new INEOS Grenadier Utility Station Wagon for my business. In the first 7 months of ownership the vehicle has covered 17,000 miles both on and off road, in the UK and as far as Albania.

In March 2025 I headed to Aspen, Colorado, as a member of the Pro-Driver Team for Aspen Snow League. We delivered test drives in the Grenadier Station Wagon or Quartermaster pick-up, for guests. They experienced The Dunbar, a private estate, where they were able to explore the INEOS Grenadier’s 4X4’s capabilities around a specially built off-road test track. Read More>>
