4×4 Wales is a member of the British Off Road Driving Association (BORDA) and can offer 4×4, ATV and UTV training to industry standards.
BORDA Members offer professional Off-Road Driver Training. In addition, courses meet and exceed your statutory & legal requirements under The Provision & Use of Work Equipment 1998 and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
BORDA Training courses are recognised & endorsed by the Health & Safety Executive ( PUWER 1998 ).

Winch Training
The objective is to equip drivers and riders with the very latest skills and and in addition the knowledge to operate a vehicle-mounted winch in off-highway situations for work and private use.

ATV / UTV Training
Basic, Standard, Higher & Loads & Implements Is the Association’s minimum recommended standard for operating an ATV under daylight conditions and may require further training for specific conditions, machines, and equipment.

Winch Training
• Course Duration Between half & one day depending on training ratios
• The most commonly used winches are operated electrically from the vehicle’s battery supply, however there are shaft and hydraulically driven winches, all of which have different load ratings.
