DAY ONE — STRATA FLORIDA

Begin your Welsh weekend with Adventure 001 – Strata Florida.
This full-day circular Adventure combines approximately 75 miles of driving with green lanes, remote Mid Wales countryside and the historic landscape surrounding Strata Florida.
The route has been designed as a complete day’s Adventure rather than simply a collection of tracks, with your GPX Navigation File supported by an illustrated Digital Roadbook and dedicated Adventure Guide.

DAY TWO — CAMBRIAN MOUNTAINS
ADVENTURE 002 — CM26-001
Day Two turns the weekend into a journey.
Starting at Elan Oaks in the Elan Valley, Adventure 002 heads north-west for approximately 76 miles through the Cambrian Mountains towards Cwmrhwyddfor Campsite beneath Cader Idris.
It’s a point-to-point Adventure through the wild heart of Mid Wales, combining green lanes, remote countryside and constantly changing scenery.
The finish also places you within the wider area associated with the Mach Loop. Military flying is never guaranteed, so consider any aircraft you happen to see an added bonus to the Adventure.

WHO IS THIS WEEKEND FOR?
The Cambrian Mountains Weekend Adventure is designed for owners of capable, road-legal 4×4 vehicles who are comfortable travelling independently and following GPX and Roadbook navigation.
Adventure 002 is rated Level 3. Drivers should be prepared for remote countryside, changing green-lane conditions, uneven surfaces and sections where careful vehicle positioning may be required.
Low range is recommended.
Route conditions can change significantly due to weather, maintenance, seasonal restrictions and other factors. Always check the current Route Status before setting out.
WHAT VEHICLE DO I NEED?
A capable, properly maintained and road-legal 4×4 is required.
Vehicles should have suitable ground clearance and tyres appropriate for the prevailing conditions. Low-range transmission is recommended.
Vehicle suitability can vary according to weather, ground conditions, vehicle specification and driver experience, so always read the individual Adventure information before travelling.
